Giving Back This Holiday Season

As we get closer to the holidays, there is no better time to consider giving back.

We at Archmill House are firm believers in the benefits of corporate social responsibility and have always advocated for organizations to get involved in their local communities. Apart from the good that you can do, there is a tangible benefit to the bottom line; studies have shown that the buying habits and brand loyalty of today’s savvy consumers are influenced and enhanced by corporate social responsibility programs.

There are also countless benefits to your own corporate culture. Archmill’s past charitable initiatives – from food drives to walkathons – have created a thriving employee culture, with staff motivated, community minded, and happy to share on social media.

With that in mind, here are two charitable initiatives that we will be supporting this holiday season:

The Good Shepherd Food Drive

The Archmill team is proud to be participating in the 8th annual Good Shepherd Food Drive.

We are encouraging our staff, partners, and clients to donate any of the items below as they are in desperate need:

  • Cereal

  • Granola bars

  • Canned fruits/vegetables/fish

  • Pancake mix and maple syrup

  • Peanut butter

  • Baby food/formula/diapers

This food drive ends December 19th, so there is still time to help those in need.

Reach Out Centre for Kids Clothing Drive

We are also working with R.O.C.K (Reach Out Centre for Kids) on a very important winter clothing drive to collect and donate as many gently used winter clothes as possible for children, teenagers, and adults in all sizes.

The clothing drive ends on December 12th, so please act fast if you’re able to donate any of the following items:

  • Winter coats

  • Boots

  • Snow pants

  • Mittens

  • Hats

We will have donation bins near the reception desks in Buildings A and C for both the food and clothing drives.

If you’d like to organize a donation on behalf of your team, please contact us directly or send us a message on LinkedIn
