Moxies Flagship
WEST GEORGIA, VANCOUVER
Archmill House recently completed an impressive renovation project for a flagship location of Moxies, a contemporary casual chain restaurant with over 50 locations across Canada and the US.
The Archmill team was responsible for supplying and installing various millwork components for the restaurant renovation, with the scope of work including the main back bar cabinetry, point-of-sale stations, host stands, private dining millwork, knee-wall cladding with metal tops, and decorative slat screens above the knee-walls.
The challenge, however, was that the Archmill House team was based in Ontario, while the site was located in Vancouver, British Columbia. To overcome this obstacle, the team adopted a robust and highly collaborative communication process, implementing daily video calls with on-site installers and contractors, which enabled real-time issue resolution and minimized potential delays.
With this process and Archmill House's attention to detail and commitment to excellence, the team was able to complete a remarkable transformation for this location of Moxies. The refreshed restaurant now boasts meticulously crafted millwork throughout, including veneer finishes and point-of-sale stations with solid wood tambour, both of which have helped restore the establishment’s elegance and sophistication and set a standard for the chain’s locations across North America.
